Lets talk about Teagan.

Where to begin when describing our vivacious ray of sunshine in the form of a Front Office attendant.

Teagan is a complete joy to all those who’ve had the pleasure of meeting her. She is an endless ball of energy, which anyone working in hospitality knows, is an invaluable trait. She approaches every task from dusting to responding to guest enquiries, with great care and passion. And she can dance circles around the best of them.

Intrigued to know more. We don’t blame you.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT TERMINUS?

Almost one and a half years.

DESCRIBE AN AVERAGE WORK DAY.

Firstly, coffee is essential. Then I catch up on the previous day and what's in store for the day ahead. Answer emails/phone enquiries. Chat to our lovely in-house guests when passing through. Ensure rooms look spectacular for our new arrivals. Welcome our new Terminus guests and then have everything ready to go for the next day. No day is the same though, that's what makes it so exciting.

THREE WORDS THAT BEST DESCRIBE YOU.

Positive, outgoing and passionate.

ANY SPECIAL SKILLS?

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, so I like to think there are some skills there (haha!). I am still trying to convince the dream team to show me their best dance moves.

WHO WOULD PLAY YOU IN A MOVIE?

Emma Stone would be fitting.

WHERE'S YOUR GO-TO FOR BRUNCH?

One Penny Black in the mall, also great for coffee lovers.

WHICH RESTAURANT OR BAR WOULD YOU CHOOSE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION?

I love The Basement. You can't go wrong with a whisky sour and a delicious authentic Italian dish.

A GUEST IS NEW TO NEWCASTLE, WHERE DO YOU SUGGEST THEY GO?

I would suggest strolling along the beautiful Anzac Memorial/Bathers Way Coastal Walk. You get a little piece of history along with striking city views, sandy feet, and friendly locals taking a stroll with their pups.

FAVOURITE BEACH OR WATERING HOLE?

I do love a sunset swim at the famous bogey hole when it's not too crowded.

HIDDEN NEWCASTLE GEM?

It's located on a busy street making it a little hard to get to but The Press Coffee & Bookhouse is one of my favourite spots to unwind. From the front, it looks like a normal coffee shop, but once you step inside it is filled with quirky character & cosy vibes. Can you tell I'm a coffee fanatic yet?
